Educational Qualification
Applicants should hold any of the following degrees from a recognised university:
- B.E., B.Tech, or B.Sc. (Engineering) in electronics, telecommunications, computer science, IT, electrical engineering, or a related field

Age limits depend on the post:
- Deputy Manager: 21–30 years
- Manager: 23–31 years
- Senior Manager: 27–34 years
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.
Selection Procedure
The selection process will mainly be based on an interview. The interview carries 100 marks, and candidates must secure at least 60% marks to qualify.
If a large number of applications are received, RailTel may conduct a written test or skill test before the interview. In that case, marks from both the test and interview will be considered for final selection.
